In a powerful blend of music, community, and global impact, Boston-based children’s entertainer Ms. Angel Monét is set to host the H.O.I. Radio Network Jamaica Mission Benefit Concert on April 12, 2026. Taking place in Boston at the Thelma D. Burns Building in Roxbury, the event will raise funds to support schoolchildren in Jamaica still recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa. Presented by Inét Entertainment Corp. and the House of Inspiration (H.O.I.) Radio Network, the benefit concert will feature an uplifting lineup of performances led by Ms. Angel Monét, alongside her beloved puppet friends, talented piano students from Inét Productions Inc., and special surprise guests. Centered around the theme “I Am Somebody Special,” the event aims to inspire confidence and connection while mobilizing support for an urgent humanitarian cause.
Ms. Angel Monét, a respected music educator and community advocate, has built a reputation across New England for using storytelling, puppetry, and music to empower young audiences. Through this concert, she extends her impact beyond the local community, continuing a decade-long mission of service through the arts.“This is a beautiful moment where children here in Boston are helping children in Jamaica through music,” said Monét. “Every note they play carries a message — you are somebody special.” Proceeds from the event will directly fund the upcoming Jamaica Missions Trip, which will deliver essential resources and enrichment programs to underserved communities. Funds will support the distribution of school supplies, books, and art materials, as well as the creation of interactive music and arts experiences designed to foster creativity and self-confidence among children. Additionally, care packages with hygiene products and daily necessities will be provided to families in need. Beyond international outreach, a portion of the funds raised will also benefit the New England-based H.O.I. Family Music & Arts Festival, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to uplifting local communities through creative programming.
The concert is already generating excitement among Boston’s education and family networks, particularly due to the involvement of young performers. Inét Productions Inc. piano students will take the stage in a meaningful show of solidarity, using their musical talents to contribute to global change. “I am thrilled about hosting an event where community and music come together to change lives,” Monét shared. “Every ticket purchased and every donation made sends a message to children in Jamaica — you are somebody special.” A recognized leader in the arts and education space, Ms. Angel Monét has received commendation from a Massachusetts State Senator for her impactful work supporting youth and families through music. The community is invited to attend this inspiring event, with tickets priced at $15 for adults and $10 for children. Opportunities for vendors, volunteers, and sponsors are also available, making this not just a concert, but a collective movement of generosity and purpose.
As the worlds of music, education, and philanthropy converge, this benefit concert stands as a testament to the idea that creativity can transcend borders and that even the smallest voices can create lasting impact.
