Brooklyn-based artist Tee Hills is making waves in the music scene with a sound shaped by her unique upbringing and cultural heritage. Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Tee Hills’ love for music was influenced by her parents’ diverse backgrounds—her mother from Trinidad and her father from Belize. From reggae and hip-hop to soca and old-school R&B, the eclectic mix of sounds she grew up with became the foundation of her musical identity.
A naturally introspective person, Tee Hills began writing music at just 11 years old. In 2022, she decided to take her craft seriously, marking the start of her professional journey. Her first showcase, hosted by a friend through Waffl Records, opened doors to performing at venues like The Juice Box and Gems Lounge with SN19Agency, collaborating with Prince Generation & Friends, and taking part in the inaugural PPower event alongside a lineup of NYC’s top female artists.
A milestone in her career came at Spring Urban Fest, her first major stage experience, which was met with critical acclaim. On April 2, 2023, Tee Hills released her debut single, “Remedy Freestyle”, a dancehall-inspired track celebrating her Caribbean roots. The song quickly became a fan favorite, energizing audiences at every performance. Later that year, on November 11, she dropped “Green Light,” a high-energy NYC-coded track inspired by the city’s drill movement, showcasing her ability to blend regional influence with her own distinctive style.
After a brief hiatus in late 2024 to focus on rest and reflection, Tee Hills returned in early 2025 with renewed energy. She’s been back in the studio creating new music while also connecting with fans on a personal level, showing them the person behind the voice.
With a career on the rise and a unique sound that bridges Caribbean heritage and Brooklyn energy, Tee Hills continues to make her mark on the music scene. Confident in her art and her path, she embodies the message that being your own biggest supporter is essential—and she’s inspiring others to do the same
