Rey Royale New King of R&B ?

Determined to be the New King of R&B, Singer Rey Royale Makes His Ascent to the Throne In a time when R&B music is more sex than soul, more swag than sincerity, there are few artists who can create the perfect marriage of sound and substance, But Rey Royale can and does. Call him the musical matchmaker.

Now if we can, I'd like to go way back back for a little while. Where did you go grow up? What was it like to grow up in?

I grew up in Boston Ma in Dorchester on a st called Fayston very ruff neighborhood with a lot of violence

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into your story - was music always your first passion?

Yes I always wanted to do music but I wanted to be a rapper before I became a singer.

What is your creative process like when making music?

Must times I like playing beats in my room candles lit where I can vibe.

Do you have any new music out now or on the way?

Yes I have a ep called “Journey to Ecstasy “

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Urban soul

If you could open a show for an artist who would it be?

Chris Brown I like what he is doing right now.

Did you ever consider giving up? Where did you get the motivation to continue through your challenges? What sustains your drive?

We all have those days when we feel it’s not going fast enough but my mom passing away put a new fire under me .

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be and why?

I’d like it to be more about the talent.

What's next for you, and how can our readers further follow your work?
